This privacy policy applies to the RegionAvto app (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices developed by VS (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider"). This Application is provided free of charge and intended for use "AS IS." This privacy policy describes how your information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Application.

Information Collection and Use

To provide the functionality of the Application, we may request access to certain features on your device, including:

• Camera: Used to scan vehicle license plates for determining the region. The Application requires access to your device’s camera. Images captured are processed locally on your device and are not stored or transmitted unless explicitly required by you.
• Microphone: Used to recognize voice commands, such as speaking the region number. Audio is processed only for the purpose of the voice recognition function and is not stored or transmitted.
• Location: The Application uses your device’s location data to show information about the region and/or determine proximity to the detected region. Location access is only required to enable region-related features and is not used for continuous background tracking. You can deny permission to use location data, but some features may not function as intended.

The Application may collect limited information automatically, including but not limited to:

• Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address,
• The pages or screens accessed within the Application, the date and time of access, time spent in the Application,
• Operating system version, device model, and similar technical data.

No precise location data is stored or transmitted, unless you explicitly consent to share such information within the Application.

Purposes of Data Use

• Enabling the core features of scanning license plates and recognizing regions,
• Improving Application performance and functionality,
• Providing user support, sending notifications about important updates or required changes.

Data Collection, Storage, and Sharing

• Images and audio used for recognition (camera/microphone) are processed locally on your device and not stored on our servers.
• We do not store, transmit, or sell user content (license plate photos, audio recordings, or precise location data) unless required for a specific service with your direct permission.
• Data may be shared only in the following cases:
  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or government request,
  • With trusted third-party service providers solely for providing and improving the Application, always under strict confidentiality and security requirements,
  • For protecting the rights, safety, or property of users or others.

User Controls and Opt-Out

• You may deny or revoke camera, microphone, or location permissions at any time within your device settings. Some features may become unavailable.
• You may stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application at any time.

Data Retention

We retain usage data only as long as necessary for providing and improving the Application, or as required by applicable law. User-provided data is deleted upon your request.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the Application or provide any personal information. If we discover that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete such information.

Users in some countries must be at least 16 years old to consent to personal data processing, or have parental consent where applicable.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. All sensitive data processed by the Application (such as camera and microphone input) is handled according to industry standards for security and privacy.
