This Privacy Policy describes how Symbiont ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

Symbiont collects the following information automatically during gameplay:

• Game progress data (population, buildings, resources, achievements)
• Gameplay statistics (play time, game sessions, civilization score)
• Device usage patterns for biometric synchronization feature
• In-game events and actions

1.2 Game Center Information

If you choose to connect to Apple Game Center, we access:

• Your Game Center player ID and alias
• Achievement progress
• Leaderboard scores

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

Symbiont does NOT collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contact information
• Payment information
• Photos or camera access
• Microphone access

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Game Functionality

We use collected information to:

• Save and restore your game progress
• Track achievements and unlock rewards
• Synchronize data with Game Center
• Provide personalized gameplay experience through biometric synchronization

2.2 Biometric Synchronization

The biometric synchronization feature analyzes your device usage patterns (day/night activity) to provide gameplay bonuses. This data:

• Is stored locally on your device only
• Is never transmitted to external servers
• Can be disabled at any time in settings

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

All game data is stored locally on your device using:

• UserDefaults for preferences and settings
• Local file system for game state
• iCloud (optional) for backup and sync across your devices

3.2 Game Center

Achievement and leaderboard data is transmitted to Apple's Game Center servers using Apple's secure infrastructure. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

3.3 No Third-Party Analytics

Symbiont does not use any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking tools.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties. The only exception is:

• Game Center data shared with Apple for leaderboard and achievement functionality

5. Children's Privacy

Symbiont is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game does not require any personal information to play.

6. Your Rights and Controls

6.1 Data Access and Deletion

You can:

• Delete all game data by uninstalling the app
• Reset game progress in the settings menu
• Disconnect from Game Center at any time
• Disable biometric synchronization in settings

6.2 Opt-Out Options

You can opt out of:

• Game Center integration (Settings > disconnect Game Center)
• Biometric synchronization (Settings > disable biometric sync)
• iCloud backup (iOS Settings > iCloud)

7. International Users

Symbiont is available worldwide. All data is stored locally on your device. Game Center data is handled by Apple according to their privacy policy and data handling practices in your region.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Displaying an in-app notification for significant changes

• Data portability

All game data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app. No data is processed on external servers.
